• Google Drive Access: With your permission, we access your Google Drive to store and manage your music files. We only access files and folders created or managed by Cassette.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymized usage data to improve the app (e.g., feature usage, error logs).

Browser Storage (LocalStorage & SessionStorage)

Important: Cassette does NOT use traditional cookies. However, we do use your browser's built-in storage systems:

• LocalStorage: Stores your authentication tokens, Google Drive connection status, user preferences, and autocomplete data (artist names, release names) to improve your experience.
• SessionStorage: Temporarily stores session recovery data to help restore your work if the page refreshes unexpectedly.
• PWA Data: Stores your PWA installation preferences and status.

This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers except when necessary for app functionality (e.g., authentication tokens for API calls).

Google Drive Permissions

Your Choices

• You can disconnect Cassette from your Google account at any time.
